What is Total Sports – Spain Soccer Academy?
An international residential football and education program in Madrid for students aged 12–18. The flagship annual program combines an American education at ESC American School with football development, accommodation, meals and full student support.
Where does the program take place?
At the ESC American School campus in Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid.
Do I need to be an elite player?
No. Admission is based on experience, motivation, objectives and ability to benefit from the program. We welcome motivated players from different levels.
How many training sessions are included?
Five weekly sessions combining football, gym, physical preparation, tactical education and performance analysis.
Will students play for a Spanish club? Are trials guaranteed?
Placement depends on age, level, licence, eligibility and availability. No specific club placement, trial, contract or professional selection is guaranteed.
Is ESC American School accredited?
ESC follows an American educational model and is NEASC-accredited. The diploma depends on grade, credits and graduation pathway; other students receive the corresponding academic documentation.
How much does the annual program cost and what's included?
€48,000. It includes education, residence, meals, football, insurance, transport to program activities, reporting, recorded content, support and academic materials. Not included: flights, airport transfers, visa fees, personal expenses, boots and physiotherapy.
Is there a reservation fee and is it refundable?
Yes — €3,000, deducted from the total fee. Refunded if the student is rejected by ESC or Total Sports; not refunded on voluntary cancellation. Visa-denial refunds may apply subject to contract.
Does Total Sports guarantee the visa?
No. Visa decisions are made by the Spanish authorities. We provide support with the program documentation required for the application.
